We tried it with everything! "Coupette" is far from being only a celebration wine. It goes perfectly well with oysters, apéritif, sushis, fondue, fishes... You got it, we really like it.

Valérie Marendaz is the daughter of Daniel Marendaz. While Daniel is finishing most of the sparkling wines from Canton de Vaud (only 4-5 companies in Switzerland are able to get wines from producers and make them sparkling - Daniel is the only one in Canton de Vaud), Valérie deals with the cultivation of vines and production of their own wines. Indeed, the family also owns a small wine estate in "Côtes de l'Orbe", producing, reds, whites and of course their specialty : sparkling wines.

Vaud is the second largest production area in Switzerland right after Valais / Wallis. The 3'800 ha are divided into 6 regions : La Côte, Lavaux, Chablais, Vully, Bonvillars and Côtes de l'Orbe. A great diversity of terroirs, influenced by lake and mountains gives great pinot noir, gamay but mostly chasselas. Vaud is also famous for one of the most beautiful vineyard in the world, UNESCO classified : Lavaux.
